Sunday May 7th brings Venus entering Cancer in your tenth house of career and what people know you as/what we call you. Your self-care Sunday might show up in doing volunteer work. Maybe it’s something to do with animal shelters and helping them be adopted into their furrever homes. It’s something that feels good and also looks great on your resume/looks good to bosses should they find out. But seriously… I feel like spending time with floofy floofs make most people feel happier. Don’t you?

On Saturday May 13th Venus in Cancer has a harmonious energy with Saturn in Pisces in the nature of playboy Jupiter. In the general May forecast I said this read as a long sexual encounter however this is happening in your tenth house of public image and sixth house of work. It’s possible that how you spent your time the weekend before has shone a light onto other people’s resources and money for where you put in that volunteer work. You’re now known as the animal whisperer. Lol. Whatever you did is bringing in gifts to your career or image through other people’s money or people your partner knows.

The next day, Sunday May 14th (Mother’s Day in the USA), Mercury stations direct in your eighth house of your partner’s resources or inheritance. Keep in mind that while Mercury is stationing they’re moving slow as hell. If you own your own business there is a great possibility that whatever program you use to collect money from others malfunctions or has a miscommunication. Plan in advance and have a backup system in place if you can. This isn’t something that will be your fault but you might have some cranky customers.

Tuesday May 16th has Jupiter entering Taurus where he’ll stay until 2024. In the general forecast I said that this is a feeling of happiness at having hard work pay off. This happens in the eighth house of your partner’s resources, inheritance, and other people’s money. For y’all it’s how you’ve had your nose to the grind doing menial work and how that is going to pay off with your career. Don’t let your partner take credit for your effort. Jupiter spending a year in this house will be beneficial if you put in the effort for positive things in this area of life. If you don’t put in the effort or put the effort into the wrong things it won’t go how you think it will. Jupiter helps things grow. He’s going to grow whatever you put effort into. If you put no effort you get no rewards. Think back to what happened June 2011 to June 2012 for an idea of the themes that will play out for you this time around.  

Mars leaves the Moon’s sign of Cancer and enters the Sun’s sign of Leo on Saturday May 20th at 11:32am EDT. In the general forecast I said that it’s time to bask in the praise from your coworkers or from your online followers who recognize all the effort you’ve been putting into your public image. However, this transit is taking place in your eleventh house of friends and coworkers. You might feel the need to hang out with more people than you usually do which would be fun however watch who you’re spending your time with because they might not have your best interest at heart. It’s perfectly ok to tell coworkers that you won’t take on extra work for them even if that means you lose them as a “friend”. Remember there’s a difference between friends and acquaintances.  If you wouldn’t invite them to your most private events or trust them with your dearest secrets then they’re not your friends. Your friends are the people you can call when you need help and they immediately ask you if you need a break or need them to bring the tarp and shovel. Anyone who doesn’t meet those standards can go so that when Venus enters this house later you have time for people who are willing and ready to be your ride or die.

The last big transit of the month that I think needs to be looked at is when Mars in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on May 23 causing a friction point between the two planets. In the general forecast I said the transit might mean having to smooth talk your partner into understanding why your time and assets are important to you or the relationship in general. For you this happens between your eighth house of others resources and your eleventh house of friends and coworkers. Being able to grow your ability to have people trust you with their things or give you their money might mean releasing or working to having healthier people in your corner. Especially because you have positive things coming in regards to your career and public image. Make sure that the content or feedback that you’re getting or putting out isn’t negative but helps support people to working towards whatever topic you’re known to cover.
