Sunday May 7th brings Venus entering Cancer in your fifth house of entertainment, creativity, sex, and sports. This self-care Sunday might mean for you that you’re hooking up with a local pick up league and playing with other people the way you did as a kid. Find that soccer group that meets up every week and hop in for a game or two. The physical exertion will feel good and help you to release any stress you’ve been having over your career and where you think you should be versus where you currently are.

On Saturday May 13th Venus in Cancer has a harmonious energy with Saturn in Pisces in the nature of playboy Jupiter. In the general May forecast I said this read as a long sexual encounter and Pisces rising folks this means you specifically because this is happening in your first house of self/physical form and your fifth house of sex joy. Now could it be more of a using your body for pleasure in other ways than sex? Absolutely. That said though… if you are not trying for kids? Wrap it up ok? 

The next day, Sunday May 14th (Mother’s Day in the USA), Mercury stations direct in your third house of siblings and communication. Keep in mind that while Mercury is stationing they’re moving slow as hell. In the general forecast I said that your siblings if you have any might want to do something different and change traditions hurting your feelings. This specifically applies to y’all. It doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the day. It simply means expect delayed communication and remember to enjoy yourself. Have patience and your feelings won’t be as damaged as you think they might be.

Tuesday May 16th has Jupiter entering Taurus where he’ll stay until 2024. In the general forecast I said that this is a feeling of happiness at having hard work pay off. This takes place in your third house of short distance travel, local community, communication, and siblings. You could be putting in an effort to communicate more or create something creative like writing a book or a script based on your personal experiences. Make sure that when you create whatever it is you’re creating that you don’t get so wrapped up in your own emotions that you can’t take constructive criticism or other people’s emotions into account. Jupiter spending a year in this house will be beneficial if you put in the effort for positive things in this area of life. If you don’t put in the effort or put the effort into the wrong things it won’t go how you think it will. Jupiter helps things grow. He’s going to grow whatever you put effort into. If you put no effort you get no rewards. Think back to what happened June 2011 to June 2012 for an idea of the themes that will play out for you this time around.  

Mars leaves the Moon’s sign of Cancer and enters the Sun’s sign of Leo on Saturday May 20th at 11:32am EDT. In the general forecast I said that it’s time to bask in the praise from your coworkers or from your online followers who recognize all the effort you’ve been putting into your public image. However this transit is taking place in your sixth house of work or menial labor. It might be time to revamp how you do things. You might be doing things out of habit and not because they best serve you. If your primary focus right now is getting your health and body right it might be time to create that new routine to best serve your body. This includes better communication with your health providers.

The last big transit of the month that I think needs to be looked at is when Mars in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on May 23 causing a friction point between the two planets. In the general forecast I said the transit might mean having to smooth talk your partner into understanding why your time and assets are important to you or the relationship in general. For you this happens between your third house of close community or siblings and your sixth house of menial tasks. Those communication strategies that you were using now are forcing you to put in effort with work. Those of you who are writers or creators of content for yourself or others, that editing process or revisions are going to be a doozy.
