Maybe this self-care Sunday you decide to spend your time getting your home office in order so you can work smarter not harder and get the company you work for to give you a bonus. Maybe you’re an entrepreneur and you spend time daydreaming or planning out ways to creatively get people to buy your goods or services. Go with your gut and have fun with your creative solutions.
On Saturday May 13th Venus in Cancer has a harmonious energy with Saturn in Pisces in the nature of playboy Jupiter. In the general May forecast I said this read as a long sexual encounter however this is happening in your fourth house of home and your eighth house of your partner’s resources or inheritance. It’s entirely possible you’re finding out what an older relative who’s passed has left you in their will. It could be that the home office that you set up for yourself is starting to reap its rewards.
The next day, Sunday May 14th (Mother’s Day in the USA), Mercury stations direct in your sixth house. Keep in mind that while Mercury is stationing they’re moving slow as hell. So all that effort you’ve put into work and any communication you might be waiting on? You’re still going to be waiting loves. Have patience. Tuesday May 16th has Jupiter entering Taurus where he’ll stay until 2024. In the general forecast I said that this is a feeling of happiness at having hard work pay off. This is in your sixth house of labor and work. Not your career that’s a different topic but the actual labor that needs to be done. Jupiter spending a year in this house will be beneficial if you put in the effort for positive things in this area of life. If you don’t put in the effort or put the effort into the wrong things it won’t go how you think it will. Jupiter helps things grow. He’s going to grow whatever you put effort into. If you put no effort you get no rewards. Think back to what happened June 2011 to June 2012 for an idea of the themes that will play out for you this time around.
Mars leaves the Moon’s sign of Cancer and enters the Sun’s sign of Leo on Saturday May 20th at 11:32am EDT. In the general forecast I said that it’s time to bask in the praise from your coworkers or from your online followers who recognize all the effort you’ve been putting into your public image. However, this transit is taking place in your ninth house of foreign travel, legal matters, publishing, and spirituality. It might be time to let certain ideals go. The ones that you have recently discovered cause harm to yourself or to others. The ones that hurt your foundation of who you are and where you come from. It’s ok to let long standing ideals go to make room for new ones that are healthier for you and yours.
The last big transit of the month that I think needs to be looked at is when Mars in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on May 23 causing a friction point between the two planets. In the general forecast I said the transit might mean having to smooth talk your partner into understanding why your time and assets are important to you or the relationship in general. For you this happens between your sixth house of menial labor or small animals and your ninth house of legal matters, long distance travel, and higher education. You might need to use your partner’s resources to help you with that work load that is feeling quite large in order to reach those academic goals or plan that trip. It also might mean that because of the amount of work you have to do that you have to let go of some long term plans. It’s alright. It might not feel alright but it will be.
