Sunday May 7th brings Venus entering Cancer in your third house of communication and community or siblings. The theme of self-care Sunday could play out in the way of sticking close to home and having appointments at your local salon or with your siblings. Maybe you decide to write a blog entry about self-care or how spending time with others in your community is good for your well-being.
On Saturday May 13th Venus in Cancer has a harmonious energy with Saturn in Pisces in the nature of playboy Jupiter. In the general May forecast I said this read as a long sexual encounter however this is happening in your eleventh house of friends and your third house of close community. I mean is it possible this could be a friends with benefits encounter? Yes. Yes, it is. Think twice about this though because the other person in this scenario, while they will communicate and worship your body, they’ve possibly got long standing feelings for you. So unless you’re ready for that to be a best friends to lovers trope I’d be mindful of this offer.
The next day, Sunday May 14th (Mother’s Day in the USA), Mercury stations direct in your first house of self. Keep in mind that while Mercury is stationing they’re moving slow as hell. This could be you trying to express yourself or feel out your body because of the events that happened the day/night before. Take your time finding your words. Well, to be honest you might not have a choice in the matter. Just be patient with yourself. Sometimes things get sticky and it takes a minute to figure out what brings you joy.
Tuesday May 16th has Jupiter entering Taurus where he’ll stay until 2024. In the general forecast I said that this is a feeling of happiness at having hard work pay off. This is happening in your first house of self. Where can you put the effort in to your physical form and identity? What needs to change? For the love of Pete do not try and swiftly change anything because you will hurt your body as well as your reputation with your friends and possibly your emotional wellbeing. Take your time figuring out what is best for you and then work towards those goals. Rely on the gifts of your community or your siblings to help you out with this one. Jupiter spending a year in this house will be beneficial if you put in the effort for positive things in this area of life. If you don’t put in the effort or put the effort into the wrong things it won’t go how you think it will. Jupiter helps things grow. He’s going to grow whatever you put effort into. If you put no effort you get no rewards. Think back to what happened June 2011 to June 2012 for an idea of the themes that will play out for you this time around.

In the general forecast I said that it’s time to bask in the praise from your coworkers or from your online followers who recognize all the effort you’ve been putting into your public image. The last big transit of the month that I think needs to be looked at is when Mars in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on May 23 causing a friction point between the two planets. In the general forecast I said the transit might mean having to smooth talk your partner into understanding why your time and assets are important to you or the relationship in general. For you this happens between your first house of self and your fourth house of home and foundation. This could mean that you are working hard in becoming your own person and in order to do so you’ve got to look at where you come from and what needs to be cut in order to step into yourself. It can be an emotional experience especially for those you consider to be your siblings.
