Sunday May 7th brings Venus entering Cancer in your fourth house of home and family roots/ancestry. The theme of having self-care Sunday that I talked about for the general public goes triple for y’all. Again I would advise against anything that has to do with super hot liquids in your care routine but stay your ass home and read some romance books. Anything that will bring you out of a possible emotional funk even if on the outside you’re presenting as a happy party person.
On Saturday May 13th Venus in Cancer has a harmonious energy with Saturn in Pisces in the nature of playboy Jupiter. In the general May forecast I said this read as a long sexual encounter however this is happening in your twelfth house of solitude and mental health along with your fourth house of family and roots so that doesn’t really apply to y’all. This is more staying home and minding your business energy to think about what you need resources wise to make you really and truly happy in life. The reason why we are the way we are and why we do the things we do can only be established if we ask the ‘what’ questions first. Feel your feelings babes and use them to go through and organize what your needs are for you to go from surviving to thriving.
The next day, Sunday May 14th (Mother’s Day in the USA), Mercury stations direct in your second house of resources. Keep in mind that while Mercury is stationing they’re moving slow as hell. If you were expecting money or gifts from family members they might be delayed or hidden. When things like this happen it’s not necessarily anyone’s fault even though it can feel frustrating and as though you’ve been let down. You’re still very important to your family and you don’t have to keep your emotions bottled up regarding your disappointment. Have patience though. It will probably clear up in a couple of days’ time.
Tuesday May 16th has Jupiter entering Taurus where he’ll stay until 2024. In the general forecast I said that this is a feeling of happiness at having hard work pay off. This is happening in your second house of personal resources. All of that thinking you did earlier about what kind of resources you had? Now begins the time to work on those resources and put effort towards them even if it means you are learning to have new skills and resources in private. Sometimes when we send ourselves on new paths it’s best to not tell the whole world about it because when we do they influence our ability to believe in ourselves. Sometimes people, even when they mean well will stop you from pursuing something not because you can’t do it but because they would never be able to do it and so they are warning you with their own fears. Fear warns us of danger and sometimes there’s no actual danger present. Jupiter spending a year in this house will be beneficial if you put in the effort for positive things in this area of life. If you don’t put in the effort or put the effort into the wrong things it won’t go how you think it will. Jupiter helps things grow. He’s going to grow whatever you put effort into. If you put no effort you get no rewards. Think back to what happened June 2011 to June 2012 for an idea of the themes that will play out for you this time around.
Mars leaves the Moon’s sign of Cancer and enters the Sun’s sign of Leo on Saturday May 20th at 11:32am EDT. In the general forecast I said that it’s time to bask in the praise from your coworkers or from your online followers who recognize all the effort you’ve been putting into your public image. However, this transit is taking place in your fifth house of creativity and fun. This could mean for you that you begin working on more creative things. It might feel like a bit of a battle in this area. It’s ok if things don’t turn out the way you envisioned them in your head. Sometimes you need to do things multiple times in order to get the results you want. Practice makes perfect or something like that.
The last big transit of the month that I think needs to be looked at is when Mars in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on May 23 causing a friction point between the two planets. In the general forecast I said the transit might mean having to smooth talk your partner into understanding why your time and assets are important to you or the relationship in general. For you this happens between your second house of resources and your fifth house of fun and creativity. This could cause a discord between what is fun and what needs done in order to grow your resources. It might mean that you’re putting more energy towards what is fun in order to grow those resources. Don’t be surprised if you feel more energy toward these fifth house topics. Follow through. Your need for growing resources has the upper hand here so don’t burn yourself out.
